Our story
Built in Thane.
Built to last.
FurniLuxe launched in 2025, built on nearly four decades of the family’s hands-on experience in furniture — running today from a 5,000 sq ft fabrication workshop in Thane, with civil, electrical, and ceiling work priced alongside furniture from the first conversation.

Why this company exists
Abdul Wasey is a mechanical engineer, trained at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering — and grew up around the family business. Moral Furniture has run since 1988; Wasey worked alongside his father there, including on a home in Andheri in 2018. In 2025, he started FurniLuxe on one specific conviction: interior design in MMR had a systematic honesty problem, and it was fixable.
The problem was scope. Most companies gave prospective clients a furniture quote, then revealed civil, electrical, and ceiling costs as a separate “site assessment” — after commitment. Clients who had been through this knew what it felt like. The numbers changed. The contract didn’t protect them.
Fixing it required owning production. If fabrication and installation were controlled in-house, the price could be fixed before work started. That meant building a workshop — not outsourcing panel cutting to a vendor — and running civil and electrical teams in parallel with furniture production rather than sequentially after it.
FurniLuxe launched in 2025. The model worked. Today it runs 4+ installer teams across MMR, manufacturing every piece from the Thane workshop — and the family’s furniture work, spanning back to 1988, has delivered 500+ complete-scope projects. The model hasn’t changed.
Our fabrication floor
Why we built our own workshop
Every kitchen unit, wardrobe frame, and cabinet panel cut for a FurniLuxe project comes from this floor — CNC ply cutting, laminate pressing, and edge-banding all done in-house, by people we employ directly. Not ordered from a third-party panel supplier, not assembled from flatpack.
Just steps away, our 2,000 sq ft showroom in Manpada lets you see finished samples in person — walk the workshop floor and the showroom in the same visit.
Owning the fabrication is why the quote is complete from day one. When you control the production schedule, you can commit to a price before work starts — and to a move-in date before production starts. That’s the 45-day guarantee: it exists because the workshop does.
The team
What 4+ installer teams and a dedicated workshop make possible
Design team
One designer holds each project from first call to installation sign-off. No handoffs between design and build. You speak to one person.
Workshop crew
CNC ply cutting, laminate pressing, and edge-banding all happen in-house — every panel cut and assembled on site. No third-party factory in the chain, no timeline surprises from outside.
Installation teams
4+ dedicated installation teams, each with a site coordinator. Civil, electrical, and furniture installation run in parallel — not sequenced around subcontractor availability.
How we work
Four things we can prove, not just say.
Complete scope, day one
Civil, electrical, and ceiling work is priced in the same quote as furniture — not added in a follow-up site assessment after you have committed to the project.
We own the production
Every panel is cut and assembled in our Thane workshop. No outsourced fabrication, no external factory that controls your schedule.
45 days, in writing
The move-in date goes into the project agreement. If we miss it without an approved exception — force majeure, client access, scope changes — you receive a contractual credit against the final payment.
10 years on structure
The joinery warranty covers structural failure, delamination, and hardware for 10 years from handover. It is documented in the project agreement — not stated in a brochure and forgotten.
