About these Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern the relationship between you and FurniLuxe when you use our website at furniluxe.co, submit a project brief, engage with a designer, or engage FurniLuxe for interior design and fit-out work.
FurniLuxe is an interior design and fit-out service. We do not operate an e-commerce store. No payments are processed through our website — all payment milestones are documented in a separate project agreement signed before work begins.
By submitting a brief, booking a site visit, or signing a project agreement, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.
Our services
FurniLuxe offers complete-scope interior design and fit-out for residential properties in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, and surrounding areas. Our services span:

- ►Modular kitchens — base units, wall units, countertops, backsplash, appliance integration
- ►Modular wardrobes — sliding and hinged options, internal fittings, loft storage
- ►Living and dining room interiors — TV unit, shelving, seating, décor coordination

The precise scope of work for your project is agreed during the design approval stage and documented in your project agreement before any payment is made.
Project scope definition
This section matters more than any other in these Terms. Many interior design companies quote furniture and joinery only, then present civil, electrical, and false ceiling costs as a separate assessment after you have committed to the project. Clients who have experienced this describe it as unexpected and frustrating.
FurniLuxe does not do this. The initial estimate — generated by our calculator or provided after a site visit — includes all of the following:
Included in the initial FurniLuxe estimate
- ✓Furniture and joinery — kitchen units, wardrobes, beds, TV units, shelving, storage
- ✓Civil work — floor tiling and laying, wall tiling in wet areas, surface preparation and levelling, plasterwork required for fit-out, waterproofing in bathrooms and kitchen
- ✓Electrical work — relocation of existing switch boards and power points, installation of new circuits and points required by the design, conduit routing within walls during the civil phase
- ✓False ceiling — gypsum or POP ceiling design and installation, integrated lighting pockets and coves, primary and secondary light fittings as specified in the design
- ✓Hardware, ironmongery, and soft-close fittings as specified
- ✓One round of design revisions before production sign-off
- ✓Site supervision and project coordination throughout
- ✓Clean-up and snag resolution before handover
Not included unless specifically agreed
- –Structural changes — load-bearing wall removal, beam alteration, slab cutting, or any work requiring a structural engineer's approval
- –Plumbing supply and drainage — new supply lines, drainage rerouting, pipe-in-wall work beyond what is required for a wet area tile reset
- –Painting and wallpaper — unless specified as a line item in the agreed scope
- –Modular appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, oven) and loose furniture beyond what is listed in the design
- –External facade work, common area work, or work outside the apartment boundary
- –Any item the client explicitly removes from scope in writing before production begins
If a specific item's inclusion is uncertain, ask us before design approval. Verbal assurances are not binding — scope is confirmed in the signed project agreement.
Why this matters
The items in our included list are routinely excluded from competitor initial quotes. A competitor quote of Rs 14 lakh may become Rs 19–22 lakh once civil, electrical, and ceiling costs are added after commitment. Our quoted price covers the full scope from the start. The number may look higher in the first comparison — that is because it is complete.
Material grades
Estimates are based on a stated material grade: Essential (standard board, plain finishes), Premium (BWP-grade boards, profiled finishes, soft-close), or Luxury (custom veneers, lacquered finishes, imported hardware). Switching grade after design approval may require a revised estimate. Material grade selection is confirmed in the project agreement.
Calculator estimates
Our online calculators (Full Home, Kitchen, Wardrobe) generate indicative cost ranges based on your inputs. These ranges reflect real project costs for the stated scope and material grade in the MMR region, updated periodically.
Calculator estimates are not binding quotations. Actual project cost depends on site conditions, final room dimensions, exact material selections, and scope confirmed at design approval. A calculator estimate typically falls within 10–20% of the final project agreement value for a project of the stated type and grade.
If the site visit reveals conditions that materially change the estimate — for example, poor surface conditions requiring additional civil preparation — we will notify you before design approval and revise the quote accordingly. You are under no obligation to proceed.
Brief submission and OTP
When you submit a project brief via our website (through a calculator or the quick-inquiry form), we require OTP verification of your mobile number. Submitting a brief:
- ►Constitutes a request for a designer callback and site visit — it is not a purchase or commitment of any kind
- ►Does not create any financial obligation on your part
- ►Confirms that the mobile number provided belongs to you and that you consent to being contacted regarding your project
- ►Does not guarantee project availability, pricing, or timeline until a project agreement is signed
OTP verification is the mechanism by which we confirm your identity and intent. By entering and submitting the OTP, you confirm that the contact details and project brief you have provided are accurate.
Site visits
Site visits are free and carry no obligation. During a site visit, a FurniLuxe designer will:
- ►Assess the site conditions relevant to your project (surfaces, existing services, structural constraints)
- ►Take measurements or confirm room dimensions
- ►Discuss your material preferences, timeline, and scope requirements
- ►Answer questions about the process and the scope of our initial estimate
Nothing said during a site visit constitutes a binding commitment on either side. A project only proceeds when a project agreement is signed and the initial payment milestone is received.
Design approval
After the site visit, FurniLuxe will prepare a detailed design proposal including 2D layouts, material boards, and an itemised cost breakdown matching the scope defined in section 3 above. You may request one round of revisions at no cost before approval.
Design approval is the point at which the project becomes binding. When you sign the project agreement and pay the first milestone:
- 1.The scope, material grade, and price are locked as documented in the project agreement
- 2.FurniLuxe begins production planning and material procurement
- 3.Changes to scope or materials after this point may result in revised pricing and timeline
- 4.Cancellation after design approval is subject to the cancellation terms in the project agreement
Design approval must be given in writing via a signed project agreement. Verbal approvals are not binding, and FurniLuxe will not begin production without a signed agreement.
Payment terms
All payment milestones are documented in the project agreement specific to your project. A typical milestone structure is:
- 1.On design approval and project agreement signing — 40–50% of total project value
- 2.On production commencement confirmation — 20–30% of total project value
- 3.On installation commencement — 15–20% of total project value
- 4.On project completion and client sign-off — remaining balance
Exact percentages and amounts are stated in your project agreement. No payments are processed through this website. Payments are made via bank transfer, UPI, or cheque to FurniLuxe directly. Receipts are issued for all payments.
FurniLuxe does not accept cash payments above Rs 2,000 in compliance with applicable Indian income tax provisions.
45-day completion guarantee
FurniLuxe guarantees completion of your approved scope within 45 calendar days of installation commencement, subject to the conditions below.
What the guarantee covers
- ►All items listed in the signed project agreement
- ►Installation to the point of client sign-off and handover
- ►Resolution of snagging items identified at handover within 7 days
Conditions and exceptions
- ►The site must be accessible to our team on the agreed installation schedule. Days on which access is denied by the client do not count toward the 45 days
- ►The guarantee applies when scope and materials are finalised at design approval. Scope changes after production begins reset the timeline from the date of change
- ►Delays caused by building society restrictions, society approval processes, or access permits outside our control extend the deadline proportionally
- ►Force majeure events (natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns, supply chain disruptions beyond our control) extend the deadline proportionally
Remedy for breach
If FurniLuxe fails to complete the agreed scope within 45 calendar days and no exception applies, you are entitled to a daily credit of 0.1% of the remaining unpaid balance for each day of delay beyond the guarantee period, capped at 5% of total project value. This credit is applied to the final payment milestone and is the sole remedy for timeline overrun; no other damages are payable for delay alone.
10-year joinery warranty
FurniLuxe provides a 10-year structural warranty on all joinery we manufacture and install, including modular kitchen units, wardrobes, TV units, beds, and built-in storage.
What is covered
- ►Structural failure of carcass boards, shelves, or frames under normal residential use
- ►Delamination of laminate or finish applied by FurniLuxe during production
- ►Failure of drawer runners, soft-close hinges, and other hardware installed by us
- ►Joints and fixings within our work coming apart under normal use
What is not covered
- ►Damage caused by water exposure beyond the waterproofed areas specified in the project (e.g., leaking pipes above a kitchen unit, prolonged flooding)
- ►Physical damage: impact, scratches, cuts, or burns to surfaces
- ►Modifications made to our work by the client or a third party after handover
- ►Normal wear and tear on consumable items (light bulbs, soft-close dampers after extended use)
- ►Civil work and electrical work — covered by applicable statutory guarantees from the relevant sub-trades
To make a warranty claim, contact us at furniluxethane@gmail.com with photographs and a description of the issue. We will inspect within 14 days and repair or replace at our cost if the claim is valid.
Geographic scope
FurniLuxe currently delivers site visits and project work primarily within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region — Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai, Kalyan-Dombivali, and surrounding areas within approximately 60 km of Thane.
We accept project briefs from anywhere in India. We do not restrict, deprioritise, or decline leads based on location. If a project is outside our current delivery area, we will discuss scope and feasibility with you before the site visit stage rather than declining the brief.
Intellectual property
All design work produced by FurniLuxe — including 2D drawings, 3D renders, mood boards, material specifications, and layout plans — remains the intellectual property of FurniLuxe until the project agreement is signed and the first payment milestone is received.
Upon completion of the project and clearance of all outstanding payments, you receive a non-exclusive licence to use the design for the specific property. FurniLuxe retains the right to use photographs, renders, and project documentation for portfolio and marketing purposes. If you prefer your project not be used in our portfolio, notify us in writing before project sign-off.
You may not reproduce, adapt, or share our design drawings with third parties for the purpose of obtaining competing quotes for the same work.
Client obligations
To allow FurniLuxe to deliver on time and on scope, you agree to:
- ►Provide accurate information about the property, existing services, and any constraints (society rules, lease restrictions) that could affect the scope
- ►Ensure site access is available to our team on the agreed installation schedule
- ►Obtain any required society or landlord approvals before installation begins — FurniLuxe is not responsible for delays caused by approval processes outside our control
- ►Make payment at each milestone within the period specified in the project agreement
- ►Respond to design and material sign-off requests within 5 working days — delays in sign-off may delay the timeline
- ►Not make changes to the site or the scope of work without notifying your project designer in writing
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law, FurniLuxe’s total liability in connection with any project — whether in contract, tort, or otherwise — is limited to the total amount you have paid to FurniLuxe under the relevant project agreement.
FurniLuxe is not liable for:
- ►Indirect or consequential loss, including loss of rental income, loss of use of the property, or costs of alternative accommodation
- ►Delays caused by force majeure, society access restrictions, or client-side delays
- ►Damage to existing property arising from pre-existing structural defects not disclosed before the site visit
- ►The performance of appliances or fixtures supplied by the client or third parties, even if integrated into our joinery
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Disputes and governing law
These Terms and any project agreement are governed by the laws of India. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution by direct negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to mediation under the rules of a mutually agreed mediating body.
If mediation fails, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thane and Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when our service offering changes or when law requires it. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
For ongoing projects, the Terms in effect at the date of design approval apply for the duration of that project. Updated Terms apply to new projects initiated after the update date.
